Entry Measures

Passengers arriving from red list countries, including passengers who have transited through any of those countries at any point in the preceding 14 days, are prohibited from entry unless they are: 1. Bahrain citizens 2. Residents of Bahrain 3. GCC citizens who do not need visas (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait and Oman) 4. Passengers eligible to obtain a visa on arrival 5. Passengers with a valid electronic visa 6. Military 7. Airline Crews Bahraini nationals and passengers holding a valid residency visa arriving from a Red Listed country are exempted from the above restriction, provided they: 1. Present an approved PCR test certificate with a QR Code before boarding the plane, administered within 48 hours of departure. 2. Undergo three PCR tests (costing BHD 36): upon arrival, on the fifth day and on the tenth day after arrival. 3. The cost of the PCR test can be paid through the “BeAware Bahrain” mobile application in addition to the platforms at the airport which permit to pay in cash or electronically by credit cards. 4. Quarantine for a period of 10 days at your residence or at a quarantine center licensed by the National Health Regulatory Authority. 5. Provide proof of a pre-paid booking in their name at a quarantine facility before their departure to Bahrain. 6. Passengers who choose to spend their quarantine periods in their homes must provide proof of residence, whether owned or rented in their name or the name of an immediate relative, before boarding. Vaccinated passengers from the GCC or countries with which Bahrain has a mutual vaccination recognition agreement with: 1. Undergo three PCR tests (costing BHD 36): upon arrival, on the fifth day and on the tenth day after arrival. 2. Neither presenting a PCR test before boarding the plane nor quarantining upon arrival is required. 3. This decision does not apply to passengers younger than the age of 6. All vaccinated passengers aged 6 years and above who have an approved vaccination certificate from countries that are eligible to obtain an on-arrival visa: 1. Present an approved PCR certificate before boarding the plane, administered within 72 hours of departure. 2. Undergo three PCR tests (costing BHD 36): upon arrival, on the fifth day and on the tenth day after arrival. 3. The cost of the PCR test can be paid through the “BeAware Bahrain” mobile application in addition to the platforms at the airport which permit to pay in cash or electronically by credit cards. 4. No need to quarantine. NOTE: Travelers are encouraged to review their eligibility for on arrival visas by visiting www.evisa.gov.bh Non-vaccinated passengers and passengers without vaccine certificates recognized by the Government of Bahrain: 1. Present an approved PCR test certificate with a QR Code before boarding the plane, administered within 72 hours of departure. 2. Undergo three PCR tests (costing BHD 36): upon arrival, on the fifth day and on the tenth day after arrival. Passengers who are under the age of 6 do not require PCR tests. 3. The cost of the PCR test can be paid through the “BeAware Bahrain” mobile application in addition to the platforms at the airport which permit to pay in cash or electronically by credit cards. 4. Quarantine for a period of 10 days at your residence or at a quarantine center licensed by the National Health Regulatory Authority. Passengers who are under the age of 12, are to quarantine for 5 days. 5. Provide proof of a pre-paid booking in their name at a quarantine facility before their departure to Bahrain. 6. Passengers who choose to spend their quarantine periods in their homes must provide proof of residence, whether owned or rented in their name or the name of an immediate relative, before boarding.
